LACO Technologies calibrates gas leak standards and vacuum gauges from all manufacturers. Our calibration laboratory operates in compliance to the most recent ISO standards for calibration laboratories. Independently accredited by A2LA to ISO17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, our lab follows American Vacuum Society recommended practices, and all calibrations are NIST-traceable. In addition to leak standard and vacuum gauge calibration, we are also a premiere service facility for all major brands of vacuum pumps and Alcatel helium leak detectors. We back up our vacuum pump and leak detector service with over twenty years of experience and guarantees on parts and labor.

We provide NIST Traceable Leak Calibration Service for all types of helium and other gas calibrated leak standards, including leak standards from Varian, Alcatel, Inficon, Uson and Pfeiffer.
CAPABILITIES: LACO uses four different calibration methods that may be used depending on the range of the leak standard, the application, the gas, and the desired calibration uncertainty: comparison method, pressure rate-of-rise method, volume change method, and capillary method.
RANGES: Calibration ranges are: 2 x 10-10 atmcc/sec and larger for helium leaks and 1 x 10-8 atmcc/sec and larger for other gas leaks.
UNCERTAINTY:Typcially < +/- 10%

Meet demanding quality standards when you calibrate your vacuum gauge at LACO. Our calibration lab services all types of vacuum gauges including Ionization, Cold Cathode, Pirani, Convection Pirani, Thermocouple, Capacitance Diaphragm, Quartz Sensor, Bourdon Tube, Hybrid Ion, and Capacitance manometers (MKS Baratrons). Vacuum gauge calibration ranges include rough vacuum, medium vacuum, high vacuum (standard and precision), wide range medium vacuum, and wide range high vacuum.


FEATURES: Vacuum gauge calibrations are traceable to NIST using AVS standard practices and comply with ISO/IEC Guide 25, 17025-1999, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, ISO-9001 and ISO-9002 quality systems. Our lab follows American Vacuum Society recommended practices and all calibrations are NIST-traceable. We also offer both calibration and recalibration services.
SPECIFICATIONS: Calibration range from over atmospheric pressure to 9 x 10-7 torr range. All calibrations are accredited and include as-received data as calibrated data and uncertainty calculation. See calibration lab for typical uncertainties for each calibration type. All calibrations include a minimum of 3 points per decade.

LACO Technologies is a premiere service facility for all major brands of vacuum pumps, providing industrial and high vacuum pump repair, overhaul, parts, and accessories for all types of pumps including rotary vane, turbo, rotary piston and liquid ring pumps.

LACO repairs rotary vane and liquid ring vacuum pumps manufactured by Alcatel, Varian, Balzers, Leybold, Edwards, Sargent Welch, Kinney, Stokes, Precision Scientific, Becker, Bush, Rietschle, Orion, Sihi and many others. We are a Factory Authorized Repair Facility for Alcatel rotary vane pumps, and do bearing changes and repairs for Alcatel and Leybold turbomolecular pumps and controllers, including the Alcatel MDP5011, 5154, ATP 80, ATP 100, ATP 150, 5081, 5101, 5150, ATH 31, 50016, and the Leybold TMP361 and TurboVac50.

Our vacuum pump repair facility tests pumps to original specifications, provide repair and test reports provided, and offer local pickup and delivery and loaner and rental vacuum pumps.

As part of of our leak detector service, we feature extensive diagnostics capabilites, component level electronics repairs, upgrades and retrofits, and preventative maintenance and rebuild programs. To supplement our leak detector repair service, we also offer refurbished leak detectors, rental leak detectors,and leak detector accessories, and leak standard calibration services. Leak detector accessories include leak standards, inlet filters, sniffer probes, inlet adapters, test port adapters, seals/o-rings, mass spec filaments, and vacuum pump oils.
