The ASM 142 portable helium leak detector has been designed specifically for heavy usage under very harsh industrial environments. It requires little maintenance and its internal layout allows easy access to all the components. The ASM 142 can be delivered with several options and accessories, including: interface board (RS232, analog and digital intput / outputs), transport cart, and remote control.
The 142 series offers three choices of leak detector units: ASM 142 - Vacuum and Sniffing unit ASM 142 S - Dedicated sniffing unit (See Alcatel 142S) ASM 142 D - Dedicated dry vacuum and sniffing unit Features Three test modes: gross leak, normal, sniffing (see Alcatel 142S) Small footprint, easy manueverability, light weight (123 lbs), optional cart available New generation analyzer cell with two independent filaments Uses one hybrid turbo pump with a high capacity 2010A roughing pump Optional user friendly remote control unit available New floating "Auto Zero" feature
