The shelf life and quality of sterile products as well as perishables can be greatly affected by oxygen and moisture. Leak testing is a non-destructive test method which is used to locate and measure leaks to ensure the leak tightness of food and beverage packaging. Testing can be done on the package alone or with the product inside. If 100% testing is not feasible, then sample testing can be done. Select a category below for more application details, test method descriptions and applicable leak testing equipment.
