Dry Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps
Description Dry diaphragm pumps offer vacuum from 110 torr to 0.5 torr at 0.45 to 6.0 cfm. The chemical duty versions use PTFE for all wetted parts which permits the pumping of aggressive solvent, base and acid vapors. The small footprint takes up little bench area, and there is low noise and vibration.
Features
Two basic versions are available:
Standard version: The materials of the wetted parts are made of aluminium, Viton and polyamide. This is adequate for less aggressive gases and vapours.
Chemistry version: All medium contacted parts of the chemistry version are made of PTFE or PTFE coated diaphragms

Benefits Diaphragm pumps are totally oil free, mechanical vacuum pumps that are air cooled and don't consume water. Diaphragm pumps can be used for a multitude of applications of vacuum generation in laboratories and process plants, such as vacuum filtration, vacuum degasing, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying chambers, rotary evaporators, distillation and gel dryers. They can also be used for oilfree backing of turbomolecular pumps for clean high vacuum applications.
