Features
MKS has developed two unique hot cathode sensors: the Mini Ion Gauge (MIG) and the HPS nude tube. HPS® Cold Cathode gauges are reliable, sturdy sensors that can be cleaned and used indefinitely. MKS carries two cold cathode sensors, the Series 421 and Series 423 I-Mag, and two cold cathode controllers, the Series 941 analog and Series 943 digital controllers.

Specifations and Ranges
MKS hot cathode sensors (Mini Ion Gauge [MIG] and the HPS nude tube) both measure pressure from 10-10to 10-2 Torr.
Cold cathode gauges measure from 10-2 to 10-10 Torr.

LVG959
Description
The CE marked Series 959 is a combination gauge controller that will operate a hot cathode and Pirani style sensor to measure pressure from 10-10 to 1,000 Torr. The ¼ DIN Series 959 is available as a hot cathode controller only or as a hot cathode/Pirani controller when the Pirani option is added. If the Pirani option is chosen, the Series 959 automatically detects whether an HPS® standard Pirani or HPS® convection-enhanced Pirani is used. Analog output, an RS232 port, and two setpoints provide fast system control. A standard leak detector function includes a digital display and variable beeper to assist in locating leaks within a system. The controller degasses the hot cathode sensors by electron beam, with remote filament and degas control and pressure indication during degas. Each controller includes the controller unit, a power cord, manual and output connector.
