Leak Detection Services:
Leak Standard Calibrations
Description NIST Traceable Leak Calibration Service for all types of helium and other gas calibrated leak standards. Standard calibration includes "as-received" measurement of the leak rate at room temperature. Other services available if required, at no additonal charge: calibration in temperature controlled water bath, adjusting leak rate by repressurizing with gas. Additional services also available: replacement of leak element, repair/replace valves, replace gauges, multiple calibration points, calibration in water bath at several temperatures.
For detailed information on leak standard usage, pressure calculations, calibration, and warranties see our CalMaster™ Leak Standard Instruction and Maintenance Manual.

Specifations and Ranges LACO uses four different calibration methods that may be used depending on the range of the leak standard, the application, the gas, and the desired calibration uncertainty: comparison method, pressure rate-of-rise method, volume change method, capillary method. Calibration ranges are: 2 x 10-10 atmcc/sec and larger for helium leaks and 1 x 10-8 atmcc/sec and larger for other gas leaks.
