UHV fittings are assembled using mating flanges bolted together with a copper gasket forming the seal.

Applications The UHV systems is a modular piping system for high and ultrahigh vacuum systems. Because of the metal seals, high purity materials, and care in manufacturing the UHV piping system can be used to pressures below 10-9 torr.
