Vacuum Pump Oil

Vacuum pump fluids are engineered to maintain optimum lubrication. Using a vacuum flushing fluid can increase the life of a vacuum pump. LACO’s flushing fluid is a hydrocarbon fluid specifically designed to assist in the internal cleaning of particles and sludge build-up in mechanical vacuum pumps. Its low viscosity helps free contamination from internal parts allowing it to be flushed from the pump through the drain valve.

LACO suggests filling the pump with 170 grade flushing fluid (after draining old vacuum pump oil), run the pump for 10 minutes, drain the flushing fluid and finally fill the vacuum pump with the appropriate new pump oil. The use of vacuum flushing fluid can substantially improve the pump’s life.
